The small sculpture of the seated Tyson is derived from the figure of the dog that accompanies the boxer Mike Tyson in one of the artist’s sculptural groups. Presented independently, the canine companion is given a space of his own, allowing attention to focus on his distinctive character.

The seated pose conveys calm, alertness, and the natural ease of time spent together. The intimate scale reinforces the personal nature of the motif and makes it possible to perceive the subtle tension between the animal’s physical strength and its devotion. Tyson becomes a small-scale image of friendship and quiet understanding between human and dog.
