In recent years, Knížák has collaborated with the Slovak glassworks RONA, for which he created a series of unconventional vases by assembling unused glass vessels and shards into slightly absurd and potentially dangerous forms. These objects express both aggression and fragility, embodying a tension between confrontation and vulnerability. The vase presented in the Flowers on Snow exhibition is made from kiln-formed glass and is based on the artist’s original conceptual ideas.
