Created in collaboration with SIN Studio Gallery and ARRT, the exhibition offers an insight into the artist’s personal world, where seemingly distant experiences, environments, and visual languages come together.

The artist’s journey into contemporary art did not begin in academia or the gallery world. He grew up surrounded by subcultures, music, street culture, and an aesthetic shaped outside established cultural institutions. Twenty-five years later, his works can be found in galleries and private collections, and he now moves within a world that appears to stand in sharp contrast to the one he came from.

It is precisely this clash that lies at the heart of Imperial High.

You can change your lifestyle, your surroundings, and your social status, but rewriting your own DNA is far more difficult. Somewhere beneath the suit jacket, the hoodie remains. Behind the polished doors of a gallery, there is still a piece of the street.

Imperial High explores the boundaries between high and low, luxury and the street, galleries and subcultures, seriousness and irony. It is also about the possibility of rising to the top without forgetting where you came from.
