Ondrash & Kasparek

The contemporary artist duo Ondřej Konupčík (1984) and Radim Kašpárek (1990) is known for a unique technique of transferring acrylic paint from the surface of water onto canvas. Ondřej Konupčík first gained recognition for his distinctive tattoo work, attracting clients from around the world. Radim Kašpárek is a visual artist who explores unconventional forms of expression through new technologies. The technique of creating acrylic paintings from the surface of water is his own invention. After four years of development, the two began refining the process together during the first lockdown, when Ondřej Konupčík was unable to work as a tattoo artist.

The duo is popular not only among collectors but also among designers, particularly for the distinctive visual language of their organic abstract forms, which evoke flowing water or fabric caught in motion. More recently, they collaborated with Festka, a Czech manufacturer of high-end carbon frames for road bicycles. Two bicycle models created as part of this unique collaboration were presented at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival in 2021.

Ondřej Konupčík

Ondřej Konupčík (1984), also known as Ondrash, is an internationally renowned tattoo artist, visual artist, and founder of the Zkruhu Foundation. He studied at the Faculty of Multimedia Communications at Tomas Bata University in Zlín. The waiting list for his tattoos can be as long as three years, with clients travelling from all over the world to work with him. Born in Přerov, he currently lives and works in Prague.

Radim Kašpárek

Radim Kašpárek (1990) comes from South Moravia. From an early age, he enjoyed painting, experimenting with artistic techniques, and exploring the playful possibilities of combining colours. Although he did not attend art school and comes from a technical background, he decided to leave the family business and devote himself fully to painting.
